Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Progammer

Region: West of Scotland

you will have at least 5 years experience within an engineering environment and be proficient in the use of the following:

• Siemens NX4 Programming Tool
• Knowledge and Experience working on Mori Seiki NMV800 Mill/Turn Centre
• Manufacturing Gas Turbine components
• Teamwork skills are essential although the successful candidates will be expected to manage their own time and take ownership of their work
• Ensure that all Manufacturing, Assembly and test processes are interpreted and instructed in line with the engineering intent
• Support of the engine strip and build lines to ensure technical issues are resolved to maintain production output

Ideally the successful applicant will:

• Educated to HNC level, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience of working in a gas turbine engine overhaul facility advantage.
• Have sound technical and commercial judgement
• Demonstrate initiative as a flexible self-starter and work with minimum direction
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to interact at all levels
• Have a proven record in problem solving
