Integration & IPT (Integrated Program Team leaders) Engineers

Location: Derby

EKES offers a range of engineering services to a range of blue chip clients.

To continue this growth we require a number of experienced Mechanical Engineers of all levels of experience to join our team of talented engineers in our Derby office. We have both permanent staff and long team contract positions available.

Gas Turbine experience would be beneficial but not essential, candidates from other industries who have transferable skill would also be considered.

KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A completed Degree or HNC qualification in aircraft engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification


• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience


• Sound understanding of mechanical engineering.


• Interface with the client on all Managed Services.


• Leads the program team.


• Meets Product Lifecycle PLM process gates and timings.


• Represent engineering and design departments at meetings.


• Takes ownership of component quality problems, drawing alteration requests, component risk register, lessons learned log, cost reduction roadmap and concession facilitation including route cause and corrective action plans


• Facilitates production rate readiness reviews with suppliers
