To support our client in Berlin we require a number of Stress - Thermals Engineers to be based in our office in Berlin.

Job Description

We are looking for a number of stress and thermal engineers, with a range of experience, to join our expanding Structures Groups to support gas turbine technology projects.
We are looking to recruit experienced engineering technologists with a proven track record in technical excellence, project delivery and industrial experience in their field.

Here, you will undertake challenging technical projects. The role will involve:

- Concept design evaluation and optimisation
- Thermal and stress analysis, fatigue and life assessments
- Assessment of structures to design codes
- Finite element analysis

Requirements

Your background will be in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or a similar engineering related subject) and you will be interested in a career within an engineering consultancy. It would be advantageous if you could also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:

- Proven track record in a Power Generation or Gas Turbines environment
- Life assessments of structures, accounting for fatigue, fracture, plasticity, or creep
- Complex non-linear and transient finite element analysis using SC03, Abaqus, Ansys, Dyna, Nastran or similar
- Experience in defect tolerance assessments and fracture mechanics

A good degree in a related field is necessary.
