Principal Life Cycle Engineer

EKES is a rapidly expanding Engineering Consultancy providing advanced Engineering Solutions and Recruitment Services to clients in the Power Generation, Aerospace, Defence, Oil, & Gas, Marine and Renewable Energy Industry sectors.
To support our clients requirements we are currently seeking
Principle Life Cycle Engineer preferably with 6-10 years of industry related work experience, with 5 years being in LCE fields.
Successful candidates will possess evidence of being able to perform duties as outlined by the following Job Description:-
- For assigned product(s) - Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities on safety, reliability, maintainability, engine health monitoring, and engineering life cycle cost matters.
- Perform safety analyses, including FHA, FTA, TLD
- Analysis, and flight safety risk analysis (RED TOPS and SAR).
- Perform control system safety analyses
- Perform reliability analyses including FMECA, engine failure and removal rate predictions, and reliability growth projections
- Perform engineering life cycle cost analyses
- Perform engine health monitoring strategy development.
- Perform trade studies to determine the LCE impact of changes in design, maintenance practices, or operational procedures
- Manage the FRACAS and ERMS system
- Develop improvements in tools, methods, and processes
- Assist in developing the analytical skills of less experienced members of Life Cycle Engineering
Qualifications and skills required to become a Principal Life Cycle Engineer:-
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, a LCE related field, Mathematics, or Physics (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Strong history of work performance as evidenced by references.
- Good breadth of LCE knowledge as evidenced by references.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
